And as icing on the cake, La Plume Media has organized our Gall & Gall Goed Genieten Sessies for many years; a four-day event spread across various locations in the Netherlands. During the event, all our store employees taste the latest flavours from our suppliers, and learn the stories behind our drinks in workshops, so that they can advise our customers even better.<\/p>\n

Whether I would choose La Plume again? Absolutely! Their personal approach, decisiveness and unique way of working with all capacities in-house make La Plume Media stand out in their field of internal communication. I cannot imagine finding this in any other company anytime soon.

\u201cVIXY Live offers livestreaming for events and corporate communication, including fully equipped corporate studios. While our company has changed names several times and our offerings are constantly evolving, our collaboration with La Plume Media has been a constant for almost fifteen years. Together, we have successfully completed countless productions for clients such as ING, ABN-AMRO, CGI, GLS, the Tax Authorities, CNV Education, pension fund ABP, and Gall & Gall.<\/p>\n

Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, La Plume Media and VIXY Live\u2014at the time called NEP\u2014executed groundbreaking projects. The most memorable of these was undoubtedly the ASML Technology Conference. Due to the lockdown, we had to organize a completely online event from scratch in just a few months. The mission was a success because, thanks in part to a fantastic virtual set in a large green studio, thousands of ASML employees experienced the conference interactively. It was as if they were right there! Events like this show that the substantive and creative power of La Plume Media and the technology and streaming facilities of VIXY Live form a powerful combination.<\/p>\n

There is great mutual trust, and we know exactly what to expect from each other. Moreover, we have a lot of fun together! I remember, for example, the celebratory dance Veerle, Gert-Jan, and I shared with the client after everything came together perfectly during the event following weeks of hard work. \u201cMy collaboration with La Plume Media began when we decided to merge Bart Smit and Intertoys. La Plume team member Veerle and I were part of the Transformation Team that supervised this process. Merging competing brands, companies and cultures is a tricky process that needs to be handled carefully, so La Plume Media\u2019s expertise came in handy to help this change \u2018land\u2019 and take root. Even after the merger, the team at La Plume handled key components of communications and events: from internal newsletters, videos and staff magazines to franchise meetings, a supplier appreciation day and manager training days. When Intertoys was sold, I found myself working closely with La Plume again. As CFO, alongside the CEO, I was responsible for both the sale and the associated communications strategy. You can imagine that this was a hectic and stressful period so it was great to have the La Plume Media team at your side. We started our intensive communication process with full force, and the official kick-off at our members\u2019 day made a huge impression.

Since 2022, La Plume Media has been helping us create more engagement from our internal stakeholders with the company and the products we deliver. Together with La Plume, we\u2019ve launched many new forms of communication. For example, we now have a beautiful employee magazine and a monthly newsletter. The newsletter includes various videos on current topics. For the video shoots, which always feature different GLS employees, La Plume arranges everything: scripts, schedules, direction, editing, and post-production. It\u2019s a lot of fun to experience a filming day and be taken care of!<\/p>\n

Over the past year, with La Plume\u2019s help, our information offerings have not only become much more extensive but also a lot more structured. \u201cIn my role as Managing Director of the Regional Jet Center, I decided to enlist the help of La Plume Media to professionalize our internal communication. Together, we accomplished a great deal: a culture survey was conducted, we introduced new communication tools, and we placed a greater emphasis on pride and connection. It truly evolved into a partnership, not just a typical client-supplier relationship. Sometimes, that went quite far. For example, during the initial months of the pandemic, I\u2019d be on the phone with La Plume up to three evenings a week to discuss what we were going to communicate. We agreed that we had to keep communicating to keep people engaged, but at the same time, there was constant uncertainty.
\nThis required coordination, refinement, and adaptation. The flexibility La Plume demonstrated then was unique. I received feedback from employees that, through that form of communication, we had genuinely guided them through the crisis together.<\/p>\n

When I moved to KLM Catering Services in 2023 and noticed that internal communication was being neglected, I decided to hire La Plume again. From the top of a company, you have to prioritize internal communication, and for a company of this size, it needs to be professionally organized. I chose not to establish a large internal communication department at KCS because we simply couldn\u2019t build the expertise that La Plume has. Visuals and audio, graphics and text\u2014you name it, they\u2019ve got it. Furthermore, La Plume provides a listening ear, is exceptionally understanding, and has the intention of truly getting to know and understand the company. What do the employees need? And how can management best address that? La Plume also brings a certain independence. For instance, the Regional Jet Center had an editorial board, of which La Plume was a part. \u201cBuilding a new, globally operating organization requires a solid foundation. La Plume Media made significant contributions to the foundation of our communications department. In the beginning of our collaboration, La Plume developed and implemented a new corporate identity, worked out the corporate story and core values, designed materials and gadgets, built a completely new website, and set up new internal communication channels. Subsequently, La Plume helped with internal campaigns and increasing employee engagement.
\nOne project that was truly impressive was the webcast that Prothya and La Plume put together from scratch in early 2023 to kick off the new work year. In a relatively short time, we worked together to create a broadcast that is still being talked about at Prothya! Because all of our locations watched the webcast simultaneously and were in live contact with each other, many colleagues felt like they were truly part of an international company for the first time. That was exactly what we were aiming for, of course!
\nI found this to be a wonderfully fun project to work on. It\u2019s always a pleasure to collaborate with the people at La Plume. This was pretty stressful for the 250 head office employees. I turned to La Plume Media to guide them through this change and to organize a light-hearted opening event for the new office building. A few years earlier, I had seen from the sidelines how La Plume Media handled communications about the Intertoys move and I knew I could leave communications to them without any worries. In the run-up to the move, La Plume Media came up with creative communications items to inform Blokker employees and get them excited. We built a relocation wall to count down the days until the move and produced a weekly relocation newsletter. In addition, various relocation gadgets were introduce to decorate our building and La Plume Media playfully copied the Blokker TV commercial with our office staff with the slogan \u2018Blokker has a new home\u2019. The day of the move itself was a huge celebration, during which employees were introduced to their new offices through QR games. The relocation could not have been communicated better! The program included talks, presentations and a countdown to the unveiling of the track and the entire event was broadcast live.
